@jourdemayne @ForteanLondon Two independent witnesses claimed to have seen it back in the 1960s, they both described seeing it at the end of the same terrace which used to overlook the drain. Their descriptions tallied with each other, neither knew the other. No idea what they saw.

@jourdemayne @ForteanLondon As the lead investigator, and the guy who broke the story to the media, I can assure you, people are continuing to report sightings in the vicinity of the drain, sightings that are both recent and historical.
